10. While this might sound a little confusing, you’ve now
actually tied two double fisherman’s knots, one on each
of the standing parts.
11. To complete the double fisherman’s knot, simply pull
on each standing part and the fisherman’s knots will
slide together. The finished knot will look like the one
in figure 22h.

Note: If you’ve tied this knot correctly it will appear very
neat and tidy. You’ll have two knots next to each other that
each look like an “x” when viewing it from one side. If you
flip it over, the two knots will look like four diagonal parallel
lines. The working ends should be on opposite diagonals of
the knot as well. If they are both on the same side, you’ve
made a mistake and need to start over.
