How to tie it:
1. Make a bight with the working end of the thicker diam-
eter rope and hold it in your left hand as illustrated in
figure 23a.

2. Keep the “u” in the bight facing towards the right and the
working end at the top of the bight.
3. Holding the thinner rope in your right hand, thread it up
from the bottom of the “u” in the bight as illustrated in
figure 23b.
