Free-standing containers, interior or exterior
BATCH-O BLOOMS was contracted by Tishman
Speyer to make biophilic improvements to
recently remodeled multi-use commercial
lobby space, that included new flooring,
furniture and lighting.
A Scandinavian aspect was envisioned and
BATCH-O BLOOMS suggested and provided
newly-designed containers from Architectural
Supplements in different shades of grey in
multiple finishes and introduced a variety of
tropical plants of different sizes, colors and
textures to delight the visual appearance.
Right: This image shows the pair of paired eight-foot tall Ficus
Lyrata used to flank a created corridor for guests and tenants, with
a seating option, but still socially distanced from other seating
areas nearby.
Below: The high-backed sofas, surrounded by a variety of tropical
plant material and containers creates an almost private encapsu-
lated refuge for guests imbibing espresso from the proximate café,
after an eventful shopping experience at the nearby Saks 5th Ave
