Perched atop a high-end residential building in the
city sits a 7th Floor glass atrium with specimen 25-
30’ Black Olive Shady Lady trees. These trees were
installed by another contractor prior to the glass
being installed. Once the trees started to fail, our
firm was selected based on our industry reputation
with the task of saving these large specimens.
Replacing these trees with a tree of a similar size
would have been nearly impossible given the
logistics of the space, so saving and reviving these
trees back to their former glory was the ultimate
goal. We put together an extension action plan for
the plant maintenance, including a comprehensive
        integrated pest management program. The
irrigation program was adjusted by our firm to
provide a better water schedule for the plants, and
positive results began to appear within the first few
        weeks.

We are happy to report that now, months later, the
plants continue to thrive and push out new growth,
and the trees have never looked better. The Jasmine
vines continue to grow higher and higher up the
steel cable system. The management company
