Installation

Our 365-plant installation in a totally reimagine
80,00 square foot office was originally slated to
happen in late Spring of 2020. Everyone was ready
for the project to commence and excited to create
a living workspace full of plants cohabitating
with employees. But then the pandemic hit, and
the timeline kept shifting. Since the project was
slated in the 2020 budget, the client wanted
us to go ahead and install the planters. It was a
bit unsettling seeing all the containers in place
without plants in them. For another year, the
planters remained empty. As 2021 rolled on we
began to think that the project wouldn’t happen
until 2022. Suddenly we got a call at the end of
June, while several of us were on vacation, that all
365 plants needed to be in by August 1, 2021, as
employees would start coming back then.

And, of course, the plant shortage was still
going on. The installation transpired over three
weekends. Part of the scheduling was based on
plant availability, and part on the number of plants
our crew could handle at one time. We are happy
to report that the plants are all happy in their new
environment and so are our clients!
