For over 125 years, a cola company has closely guarded the secret
ingredient in its cola recipe. The recipe has recently been moved to

a tough steel door vault in USA.

Even though the formula and the recipe of this cola remain a secret
to this day, there are at least five other cola drinks that taste pretty
similar, so much so that many people cannot tell the difference when

they taste this cola and other similar colas from a glass.

Exercise and Discuss:
Form groups of four to six learners. Each person
in the group will pull out a textbook from
his/her bag and flip through the pages. Stop

randomly at any page and place your finger
below any word. That becomes your word for
this exercise. Depending on the size of your
group you will have between four to six words

amongst you.

Write down all the words of your group in the
diagram below. How can you connect the words to mean
something—a rhyme or a poem or the title of a movie or a television show? You are free to

create whatever you can think of with your words. Ask each other as many questions as you
like.
