Beginning:
In June 2014, US electric car company Tesla offered its technology to other
car makers to use for free. No company would choose to do this when it
has spent millions in research and development to design and create a car,
or any other technology for that matter. But, Tesla believes that by sharing
its technology it hopes that more companies will create more and better
electric cars to benefit people and the planet. The company also hopes to
motivate and inspire the world’s most talented engineers to create better
and bigger ideas.
