UP AND AWARE - 7
Do you think you have more freedom than your parents had at your age? Or is it the opposite?
What are some of the things you can do to convince your parents to give you more freedom?
• NO FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT—It is illegal for the people in a particular
country in the world, to leave their country or even travel within the
country without permission from the government.
• NO FREEDOM OF SPEECH—If anyone is found questioning or criticising
the leader or the government, they and their family end up in a prison
camp. The only opinion allowed to be spoken or heard is that of the
leader of that country.
• NO FREEDOM OF INFORMATION—People in this country cannot make
international calls from mobile phones and landlines. It is illegal to own
a radio that can catch radio station frequencies of the outside world.
• NO FREEDOM OF RELIGION—People who are caught practising or
spreading religion are either killed or sent to political prison camps.
