(Decision Making)

Beginning:

The River Ganga is one of the greatest rivers in the world and the longest
in India. For the people of our nation, it is more than a source of water; it is

considered as the holiest of all rivers in India. This river is mentioned in the
Holy Scriptures namely the Vedas, the Puranas, the Ramayana and
the Mahabharata. Ganga is worshipped as the goddess ‘Ganga Ma’ or
‘Mother Ganga’.

Indians across the world believe that the sight of this river, its name and
its touch is so pure that it has the divine power to wash away the sins of a
person. Even so, people who live along the river have polluted this mighty
river with factory wastes, chemicals and other toxic material.
