festivals and traditions?

allowed to hoist the Indian flag in
their homes or the place of work.

The Flag Code of India was
amended recently and from
January 26, 2002, the Union
Government officially

allowed Indian citizens to
proudly hoist the Indian
flag, provided they meet
certain conditions to

show the ‘Tiranga’ the
utmost respect.
