Better Home Better Life Project
board for further successes and the Llano brothers fit that description!
The need in the communities we serve is staggering and overwhelming,
therefore it is essential that the beneficiaries chosen are invested in the
process themselves. It is not an easy task for the ACAF team to make
these selections but it is necessary and essential to Mejor Casa Mejor
Vida’s success.
Now in their new home the brothers are thriving! Cleiser will soon
complete his secondary education and plans to seek employment in what
he does best, heavy machinery operation, a job he couldn't do until he had
certified his high school studies. Luciano and Junior are excited about the
opportunity to study and become professionals in their respective fields.
They are already enrolled in barbering and pastry courses respectively.
The brothers have a deep gratitude for Friends of Chimbote and ACAF.
There is hope in their new home. This hope was brought by the work
of many: the Friends of Chimbote Community that funds the work to
identify and work with families, the social workers and education team at
ACAF working with families, the logistics and operations team who plans
the builds, the construction team helping the visitors from the US, the
family that paid for the home, the young visitors from the US who traveled
to Peru to serve, and everyone who prays for the success of our work!
