EYE EXAM DAY

Alyssa had her third eye exam this morning over the last two
weeks, and they have found that the early stages of ROP in her
eyes have not worsened (which is a good indication that the
Stage 2 diagnosis may eventually correct itself and not require
any special treatment). They will check her again in one week.

This evening they began to wean Alyssa off of the incubator to
see if she can control her own body temperature. She is now
dressed and wrapped in a blanket in her home and the
temperature of the incubator was turned down – another new
“first time”.

This is the confidence we have in approaching

God: that if we ask anything according to His
will, He hears us. And if we know that He

hears us - whatever we ask - we know that we

have what we asked of Him. 1 John 5: 14,15
