VERY ENCOURAGED

Kathie came home tonight after spending 2 days with Heidi and Alyssa, and told me
that she felt very comfortable and encouraged for the very first time. Alyssa is
developing extremely well – she is alert and active, she sleeps soundly, she responds
to her environment, she knows her mom and dad, she is digesting her increased
feedings, she is gaining weight and growing (now 38 centimeters or 15 inches long).

Kathie and Heidi spent the morning going through the photos and comparing pictures
of Alyssa when she was first born to now. The development is amazing. Everything Week 1 (1 pound 5 ounces, and 13.75 inches long)
that was to have occurred in the womb has happened before our eyes instead – and we
are blessed by it.

Week 6 (2 pound 8.5 ounces, and 15 inches long)
