A LITTLE IMPROVEMENT
The settings on the HFOV were further reduced this morning as a
result of Alyssa’s blood gas levels showing an improvement. By
late afternoon, however, the settings had to be increased once
again.
That was all I wrote in my e-mail that day. Along with the short
message, I attached a photo showing Alyssa’s very swollen body.
She was so swollen that you could not even recognize her as the
same baby.
