Special Projects
• Encourage training for and with the Fire Marshal and local EMA.
• Achieve a higher level of attendance and involvement by members in association activities.
• Improve District Meetings.
• If needed set dates for the 2020 in state “Propane Days.
Board of Directors
• Strengthen the role of Committee and Board members in the decision making process.
Maintain a calendar of events to include regulatory deadlines, association meetings, etc.
• 2020 Winter/Spring General Membership/Board of Directors Meeting – March 26, 2020 – TBA
• 2020 District Meetings:
• West – May and September 2020 Location & Date TBA
• Middle – May and September 2020 Location & Date TBA

• 2020 Annual Meeting June 1-3, 2020 – DollyWood’s DreamMore Resort, Pigeon Forge TN
• 2020 Strategic Planning Meeting – October 15, 2020
• 2020 Fall General Membership/Board of Directors Meeting – October 15, 2020– TBA
• Review short term objectives at all Board Meetings.
• Committee budgets submitted to Audit Committee by August 31, 2020.
Membership Committee
• Continue to encourage diverse participation from independent marketers, major marketers, and suppli-
ers.
Governmental Affairs Committee/PAC Committee
• Maintain and promote a Political Action Committee.
• Develop marketing presentation for PAC.
• Participate in legislative events.
• Advocate current and future legislative and regulatory issues.
• Retain active lobbyist if needed.
• Committee budget submitted to Audit Committee by August 31, 2020.
Convention Committee
• Recommend sites for the TNPGA annual convention two years in advance of current convention by the
2020 Winter Board Meeting.
• Committee budget submitted to Audit Committee by August 31, 2020.
Education and Safety Committee
• Develop education or safety programs with District Directors by February 2020.
• Review past schools.
• Set 2021 dates, topics, and locations for 2021 schools by October 2020.
