ABSTRACT
One of the most significant strategies in getting a successful business is having a good supplier. However, it comes to a problem in choosing supplier when
there are uncertainty and doubt in making decision. The purpose of this study is to apply distance measure and measure its efficiencies in solving the
supplier selection problem. Therefore, this study provides a methodology in choosing the best supplier based on distance measure method under Single-
Valued Neutrosophic Set (SVNS) which are Hamming distance measure, normalized Hamming distance measure, extended Hausdorff distance and with
the addition of similarity measure. A framework of three phases is develop including formulating the distance measure, applying to the problem and
finally the discussion and a ranking process through comparison. As the result, a lower value of distance is better and a higher value is better for similarity
measure. The proposed method offers a simple and easy use decision-making tool under uncertain conditions in supplier selection.
