Doris Schwab
Doris was a Girl Scout, leader, troop organizer, troop services
director, trainer and frst Vice President of the Lake Erie Girl
Scout Council. She was also the organizer of an innovative
intergenerational Girl Scout program that received the Governor’s
Award and a citation from the National Center for Voluntary
Action. First Lady Patricia Nixon and the GSUSA Board sent
commendations. Later she became the founding Executive
Director of Senior Citizen Resources Inc., frst honorary female
member of the Cleveland Jaycees and the organizer of the
Cleveland Senior Olympics. Doris is a true pioneer with a vivid
imagination, contagious enthusiasm, and strong commitment to
celebrating the good things in life. She welcomes each new day
with warmth, joy and love. Doris is also a wonderful friend.

Troop 70573
I want to thank the young ladies and their parents of Troop #70573
for allowing me to be part of their lives. This honor is for you and
your parents. I love the experiences we have shared over the
years. I look forward to many more experiences the next few years
have to offer us.

Anna Tyrrell
As a licensed social worker, counselor and mediator Anna has
focused on promoting personal safety and emotional strength
through awareness and intervention programs both in her
professional and volunteer roles. She has devoted numerous
hours to helping adults and children affected by abuse.
As a consultant for the Lake Erie Girl Council Contemporary
Issues Committee she helped develop workshops for girls
addressing family violence, peer pressure, violence-free dating
and suicide. These workshops received recognition from other
community agencies. Anna’s expertise, dedication, support and
encouragement have made a difference in many lives. Anna, you
are very special!
