Fran Benz

Fran was the staff person assigned to the East Cleveland
Neighborhood prior to my coming to LEGSC in the 1970s.
After she left the staff, she revived the East Cleveland Leader
newspaper. As editor and publisher she strongly supported Girl
Scouts in East Cleveland by covering all local Girl Scout events,
announcing upcoming events, and highlighting individual girls’
accomplishments; running some stories above the fold on the
frst page - fantastic local publicity and support for Girl Scouts.

Patty Bischof

Patty has been a leader of Troop 71034 since the troop began in
2004. The girls are now 16 years old and joined for yet another
year of Scouting. I think that says it all!
