To Angela Day, my Troop Committee Chairman, who stood behind
this new, lone leader saying, “You can do this and I will support
you!”: Thank you for the ears you loaned me and all the events
you suffered through with me. Thank you, too, for sharing your
daughters with me - two of the best Girl Scouts I ever had!

Gunta Douglas
There is a reason volunteers and staff love Gunta. She lives and
breathes the Girl Scout Promise and Law. As a staff person at
LEGSC GUNTA was our role model in how to respect, value and
work WITH volunteers. We learned that growing girls was our
mission and growing adults was our important frst step. Gunta
has made a huge difference in my life.

in leadership has enabled us to be involved in various activities
