Mary Ann Kasper

There are very few people in this world who could measure up
to Mary Ann’s generosity, compassion, and selfess sharing of
her time and knowledge. All Girl Scouts will miss her. -Ann Kurtz

Mary Ann Kasper represents the epitome of motherhood
involved in Girl and Boy Scouting. Western Reserve Girl
Scout Council was fortunate to have had her in their midst
-Phyllis Arkett

I remember Mary Ann’s dedication to training and her sunny
attitude.
-Kate Murgatroyd

Mary Ann Kasper was the truest Girl Scout I’ve ever known -

Mary Ann Kasper

I’ve never forgotten my frst training with Mary Ann over 25
years ago. She taught us how to fold a piece of paper, make a
few cuts, and like MAGIC we had a trefoil. I still use this method
for making perfect trefoils.
-Carole Krupa

Mary Ann Kasper’s name conjures up the memory of a warm,
knowledgeable, and conscientious person who always had
another story or tidbit to share with the leaders she had trained.
Mary Ann was the person people from Ravenna recognized as
their “trainer” and the person who knew a wealth of information
about the camps and nature of the central area of GSNEO.
Mary Ann would also help other trainers who had BIG classes
for new leaders or would gladly talk to you if you needed some
more ideas when camping or taking a hike. Mary Ann Kasper
will be missed, but as we think of her fondly, we will smile in
remembrance.
