Eloise Anderson

For a Girl Scout volunteer accepting the position of the Council
President is a challenge both personally and professionally.
Eloise, the frst African American President, served LEGSC from
1987 - 1990 with true dedication and determination. She faced
diffcult and challenging circumstances with calmness and
courage and her commitment to the girls and Girl Scouting was
evident at all times. We honor her dedication and service to the
Lake Erie Girl Scout Council and Girl Scouting and we value her
commitment to the girls and the Girl Scout adults both near and
dear to all of our hearts.

We, the Silver Scouts Alumnae, wish to honor and salute Phyllis
Bement for her continued dedication and devotion to Girl
Scouting. She has held numerous positions in the LEGSC in the
past and presently works with the GSNEO North Region Alumnae

for others is a shining example of her continued commitment to
the Promise and Law of Girl Scouting. Thank you, Phyllis, for your

new friends but keep the old, one is silver and the other is gold.”
