Emma Rychlik
Emma Rychlik’s life started very simple, but with lots of determination
and dedication. She touched so many lives. With a smile and the
time she gave, she enhanced not only her life but countless others.
In this way her life was full of riches. Please remember her that way.

Carol Scott
To be involved for more than 50 years... how many can say that?! Our
mother, Carol Scott, has had a heart for Girl Scouting for at least 53
years, since she was able to become a Brownie while growing up in
Toledo. At age 10- exactly 50 years ago- it was cemented when, away
from home for the frst time and separated from her twin at camp, the
leaders brought the twins together for a surprise birthday party. Girl
Scouts are her family. She was a Scout though her school years (in
Toledo, then Huron), and is now a lifetime member. As an adult,
she has been the leader of 4 troops- 3 in Huron and 1 in Milan, and
has helped many more. She has received the Outstanding Leader
Award in 1987, Leader of the Year in 1981, and the Appreciation Pin in
2007. We are pretty sure she knows and can teach every Girl Scout
song ever sung. She continues her involvement today and can’t
predict her ever stopping! We couldn’t be more proud of her!
