Gwenn Zoeller
Gwenn is a lifer...a Girl Scout lifer, that is. She’s almost intimidating
when you frst meet her because she is so self-assured, direct,
and knowledgeable, but those exact qualities are what draws
you back to her. As you spend time with her, her energy and
warmth shine through. She’s been a Girl Scout forever it seems
so scouting is just part of her make-up; it’s in her blood, you might
say. She cares deeply about it all; she offers help and guidance
to leaders; she loves teaching and experiencing nature with the
girls; she has pride and respect for scouting as an institution; and
she’s passionate about keeping scouting alive as girls mature into
adulthood. She has been such a versatile resource and positive
infuence in our service unit – organizing council fundraising
programs, supporting service unit events, advising new and old
leaders alike, flling in as registrar, and even leading the service
unit – it is hard to imagine her not being with us. Gwenn is one of
those women that you remember and respect. She’s a confdent
leader and a compassionate, supportive friend. She’s a strong
spirit, grounded in life through scouting. We are proud to honor
her here.
