Joy Heidinger

Joy Heidinger became a Girl Scout Leader in 1977, when my
troop needed a leader. She led my troop through Brownies,
Juniors and Cadettes. When our troop disbanded for lack of
members, as my mother she found another troop that I could
join. She continued to work with me and support me as an
adult volunteer through my Gold Award and graduation. Over
the years she has held many positions Troop Leader, Day
Camp Director, Mahoning County Junior Fair Board Girl Scout
Representative, and currently History Committee, to name
a few. She has also been an outstanding teacher, leader and
example for the girls whose lives she has touched.
