Marsha Chenin

Marsha has been a Girl Scout for many years. As a person of
strong convictions she devoted many hours in the Lake Erie Girl
Scout Council to advancing diversity in the organization. She
chaired the Affrmative Action Committee and developed and
implemented training courses designed to promote respect
and appreciation of diversity by refecting that diversity in
membership, leadership and program. Her life is one of
responsibility, caring and sharing. She manages to be in more
places, get more done, and help more people than anyone I
know. Without expecting anything in return, she unselfshly
gives much of herself so that others can lead happier and
healthier lives.

Trudee Davis

Trudee Davis has been a Girl Scout Troop leader and volunteer
for years. She is currently active with the History Committee
as well as the troop she co-leads. Her troop is a large multi-
level troop from Daisies to Ambassadors. Her troop is very
active. My niece has been in her troop for two years as a Daisy
and loves Girl Scouting because of her experience in the troop.
Trudee has also mentored girls to leadership – one of her troop
members serves as a Girl Member of the Board of Directors.

Andrejs Douglas
When the Lake Erie Girl Scout Council hired me, it got two for the
price of one. Andrejs believed in Girl Scouting and supported all
my efforts on behalf of it. He was a quiet presence, watching to
see how he could be helpful. He was the calm in an emergency,
the ready solution to a problem, and the voice of reason when
the going got rough. Even when his health began to fail, he kept
on helping -- no problem was too big to solve, no effort too
much to give -- and he did it always with a smile.
