PgM Processes


               Program Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) Phases
               Program/Project Management (PgM) is a cyclical process of Planning, Execution, and Monitoring,
               where centralized planning drives and supports standardized project and contract execution, which
               produces data to feed monitoring efforts, which then informs iterative planning functions and course
               corrections.

               Planning

               As mentioned in the QuickStart guide, as part of the initial Post-Award planning process, the PM will
               be responsible for developing deliverables/plans within the first month after contract award. These
               will include the following:
               Project Charter
               This is a document that provides a delineation of team member roles and responsibilities, outlines the
               project’s goals and objectives, identifies the main stakeholders, and defines the authority of the PM.
               A template for this is available in the Vysnova Standard PgM Docs (See Annex E for list of folder
               contents). The project charter should contain:
                     Synopsis of the project, including the PWS objectives

                     A list of all team members and their roles and responsibilities
                     The project organizational chart

                     Authorities of team members
                     Critical success factors for completing the project objectives

                     Charter agreement signature blocks
               Project Management Plan
               The PM is responsible for  weaving any related pre-award documents along with the contract
               PWS/SOW and developing it into a Project Management Plan (PMP) that details the execution plan
               designed to satisfy and/or exceed the contractual requirements. This is done in collaboration with the
               client and Vysnova back office (i.e. Vysnova corporate departments such as Accounting, Contracts,
               Security, Human Resources, etc.) support as needed. A template is available for this document in the
               Vysnova Standard PgM Docs folder (see Annex E). This essential document guides the entire project
               and details the management plans that cover the following:

                     Project Objectives
                     Project Scope & Deliverables

                     Project Schedule
                     Project Budget
                     Quality Assurance Management Plan
