Cleaning up the Coverage Report

Before flowing your index, you’ll want to clean up the Coverage Report. This will make your index more accurate. If you
have a large amount of duplicate names, click the merge duplicates button first at the top of the Coverage Report.

CHANGE A MISSPELLED NAME
• Click directly in the box and make your changes. MERGE
• Changes are saved automatically. DUPLICATES
• Carefully check last names like O’Malley, De La Torre and Van der Hayden Start here if you have a large

been tagged, but is not in the

• Merge two records.
• Type the name you want to merge with and select
the correct name from the list that appears.
• Merge name such as Mike Smith and Michael Smith
if they are the same person.
• Carefully check last names like O’Malley, De La
Torre, and Van der Hayden for proper spacing,
capitalization and apostrophes.
