I am Kyunti James-Thorpe, a third-year medical student at Morehouse School of Medicine. I’m
originally from Brooklyn, NY, but moved to Georgia when I was 12. I am interested in the primary
care specialty. My goal is to become a phenomenal physician and serve underserved or
underprivileged patient populations. Another goal of mine is to give back to my community and
mentor aspiring doctors. I wish to decrease the primary care doctor shortage and the Black doctor
shortage in this country.
