          These include clever, gentle,narrow,pleasant,quiet and simple.

            Spelling rules:adverbs formed from adjectives

            ending in consonant             add -ly
                                                                 careful -» carefully

                                            keep -e and add
            ending in -e                                         nice -» nicely
                                            -ly

                                                                 easy -» easily
            ending in consonant + -y        change -y to -ily
                                                                 luck-» luckily

                                                                 comfortable -» comfortably
            ending in -le                   change -leto -ly
                                                                 possible -> possibly

                                                                 automatic -» automatically
            ending in -ic                   + -ally
