In the females’ category, Nalicy Chirwa of Forever athletics club managed to defend her title
as she finished first on 3:02.57, while Doris Fisher of Mount Mulanje club finished second on
3:12.16 and former champion Tereza master of Mulanje Athletics Club finished third on
3:13.49.
Out of the 63 athletes, 15 did not finish the race and 3 did not start. Out of the 15, men were
14 and there was only one female and all those who did not start were male.
