Mugwort, known as the “Hakka Devine Herb”, is highly regarded for its health benefits and is par-
ticularly favoured by Hakka women. Mugwort from Xingning is also known as “sweet mugwort”.
In large cities across the Pearl River Delta, most Hakka restaurants’ mugwort are supplied from
Xingning.
