Install separate pumps and piping not connected to the POTABLE
WATER distribution system for draining tanks (Figure 18).
22.8 Suction Lines
Place suction lines at least 150 millimeters (6 inches) from the tank bottom or sump
bottom.
22.9 Potable Water Distribution System
22.9.1 Location
Locate DISTILLATE, PERMEATE, and distribution lines at least
450 millimeters (18 inches) above the deck plating or the normal bilge water
level.
Avoid BLIND LINES in the POTABLE WATER distribution system.
