This session will highlight the steps being taken to increase access for
underserved students to College Credit Plus (CCP) and to ensure the success of

these students in the program. It will further explore how the Ohio Guaranteed
Transfer Pathways (OGTP) work in conjunction with CCP to help students make

strategic course selections and to provide clear guidance to associate and

bachelor’s degree completion.

Book Discussion: The Transfer Experience: A Handbook for Creating a

More Equitable and Successful Postsecondary System
Moderators: Robyn Marrufo, Transfer Admission, University of Toledo, and

Melissa Swafford, Manager, Transfer Center, Cuyahoga Community College
The moderators will share their reflections and perspectives on the themes and
guidance provided in the book. Learn about the power we have to ReTHINK and

ReDESIGN EXPERIENCES for TRANSFER SUCCESS. We will discuss the challenges
facing our transfers and identify ACTIONS to assist with improving transfer

outcomes. All attendees are welcome regardless of their familiarity with the
book.
