Keynote Address: John Fink
Toward Equitable Transfer: Challenges and Momentum in Ohio

In this keynote, John will synthesize findings from CCRC’s five-year research
partnership with the Ohio Association of Community Colleges and ODHE

studying college student success reforms to strengthen transfer outcomes and
close equity gaps in Ohio. He will review research on institutional barriers to
transfer success and their disproportionate impact, share insights and

resources for better supporting students based on the practices of highly
effective transfer partnerships, and showcase exemplar colleges and

universities working to transform the transfer student experience.
