Building the Bridge−Ensuring Connections for Transfer

Students

Moderator: Kimberly Liddell, Transfer Specialist, Cuyahoga

Community College

Attendees will participate in a discussion of how sending and

receiving institutions can best support students through the transfer

process. The discussion will focus primarily on the relationship

between two-year and four-year institutions, but can include transfer

between four-year institutions and between two-year institutions.

Transfer Friendly Orientation

Moderator: Barbara Miller-Harris, Assistant Director of Student

Success Programs, Kent State University

This round table discussion will review the components of the transfer
friendly construct and apply them to transfer student orientation

development, implementation and assessment.
