As a Change Leader at Tata Strive, I feel really grateful, this role is rewarding and challenging in a
way.
On 18th February 2019, there was the inauguration of Mo Bus training program. I was excited as it
was a new model with different beneficiaries whom I was going to train. I was always passionate
about my job but didn’t know how I could match the role assigned.
As a person I am approachable and always open to learn. Slowly, as days passed by, after couple of
batches my confidence level grew and I got the ability to handle those participants who were
illiterate and even much elder to me.
I remember one incident when in one of the batch there was an old man who was the captain in Mo
Bus. On the first day of the training he came to me and asked about the training, he was curious
being an illiterate man how he could sit there. He said that he didn’t know how to read or write. I
just advised him to sit and listen mindfully after that, even then if he didn’t like it, he would be
allowed to leave. On the fifth day the captain came to me and said madam you were right. He
thanked me and said, “I am enjoying the sessions and I will go back home and share with my
children”.
Every day he enters into the training room with gratification he bows down and wishes me. My
enthusiasm level becomes high when I see those captains and guides learning and sharing their
experience. I feel happy when I see the transformation.
