Electric mobility projects in Medellin
The city of Medellín issued Agreement 058 of 2017 through
which the collective and individual mass public transport of
passengers with 100% electric vehicles is promoted and
encouraged.
Terms:
• New vehicles entering to increase transport capacity may be
100% electric.
• If an accident affects a vehicle in operation and its destruction is
determined, it may be replaced by a 100% electric vehicle.
• When the useful life of a vehicle in current operation ends, it can
be replaced by a 100% electric vehicle.
