Electric mobility projects in Cali
In February 2018, the Mayor of Cali put into operation the first electric
motor bus in the MIO public transport system. The bus has an autonomy
of eight hours and the charging time at 100% capacity is three hours.
In September 2019, the first 26 electric buses
in the country began to circulate in Cali. These
are part of the MIO BRT system, which will have
a total of 136 buses in operation.
