Colombia has a National Strategy for Electric Mobility

In 2019, the Government launched the National Strategy for Electric and
Sustainable Mobility, with the aim of improving air quality by reducing

polluting emissions and promoting the use of electric vehicles.

Main objectives:

• Have a cleaner and friendlier vehicle fleet

• It contemplates the necessary actions to accelerate the transition

towards electric mobility, with the goal of incorporating 600,000 electric

vehicles by 2030.

• By 2035, all the public service vehicles used in BRT systems will be electric

or with zero polluting emissions.
