Programme overview:
This Programme is offered in modular approach. On comple-
tion of 1st Year only, you get a Diploma in Retailing (DIR). ever is applicable.
On completion of 2nd Year you get an Advanced Diploma
in Retailing (ADIR), and on completion of 3rd year you get
a BBA degree. The programme is offered once, in July ev-
ery year. There's three month-internship in the 1st year and The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) programme of Indira
on-the-job training in the 2nd and 3rd years.
Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA)
Minimum Duration: 3 Years, Maximum Duration: 6 Years,

Programme overview:
The basic objective of the programme is to open a channel
of admission for computing courses for students, who have
done the 10+2 and are interested in taking computing/IT
as a career. After acquiring the Bachelor's Degree (BCA)
at IGNOU, there is further educational opportunity to go
for an MCA at IGNOU or Master's Programme at any other
University/Institute. Also after completing BCA Programme,
a student should be able to get entry level job in the field
of Information Technology or ITES.
Bachelor of Education (BEd)
Minimum Duration: 2 Years, Maximum Duration: 5 Years,
Course Fee: Rs. 20,000, Age no bar.
Eligibility:
a) Candidates with at least fifty percent marks either in
the Bachelor's Degree and/or in the Master's Degree
in Sciences/Social Sciences/Commerce/Humanity,
Bachelor's in Engineering or Technology with special-
ization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or
any other qualification equivalent thereto, and
b) The following categories are eligible to be the students
of B.Ed. (ODL):
(i) Trained in-service teachers in elementary educa-
tion, or
(ii) Candidates who have completed a NCTE recog-
nized teacher education programme through face-
to- face mode.
The reservation and relaxation in marks for SC/ST/OBC (Non

Admission is through national level entrance test (JEE) con-
ducted by NCHMCT.
Programme overview
This is a three-year degree programme and is based on a
collaborative model with courses from the distance learn-
ing system and those courses offered by the NCHMCT.
There will be regular classes for learners at all the Institutes
of Hotel Management. In addition, all learners will have to
complete courses worth 40 credits offered by IGNOU
through the distance mode. For admission in this
programme, NCHMCT conducts an entrance test at differ-
ent Institutes of Hotel Management all over the country.
It is a professional programme aimed at developing human
resources for the Hotel Industry and Hospitality Services.
