Justice Deepak Justice Deepak Gupta sworn-in as Chief Justice of Chhattisgarh High
Gupta Court
Justice Deepak Gupta has sworn-in as the new Chief Justice (CJ) of the Chhattisgarh High Court. He was
administered the oath of office as per by Chhattisgarh Governor Balram Das Tandon at Raj Bhawan in
Raipur as per the provisions of the Article 219 of Constitution.
Prior to the transfer, Justice Naveen Sinha was Chief Justice of the Chhattisgarh High Court since 2013.
Justice Naveen Sinha sworn-in as Chief Justice of Rajasthan HC
Justice Naveen Sinha has sworn in as the 31st Chief Justice of Rajasthan. He was administered the oath
to the office by Governor Kalyan Singh as per the provisions of the Article 219 of Constitution.
Prior to the transfer, Justice Naveen Sinha was Chief Justice of the Chhattisgarh High Court since July Justice Naveen

US President appoints Indian-American Manjit Singh to key
administration post
United States (US) President Barack Obama has appointed an Indian-American engineer Manjit Singh
as the member of President's Advisory Council on Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships (PACFBNF).
Manjit Singh PACFBNF brings together leaders and experts in fields related to the work of faith-based and
neighborhood organizations in order to make recommendations to the
Administration.
Mickey Arthur appointed as Pakistan cricket team's head coach Mickey Arthur
Former South African cricketer Mickey Arthur has been appointed as cricket team's head coach. It was
announced by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). With this appointment he fills the role vacated by
Waqar Younis' resignation in April 2016 following Pakistan's early exit from the T20 World Cup. This is
Arthur's third assignment with an assignment of international coaching. Earlier he coached South
Africa from 2005 to 2010 and Australia from 2011 to 2013.
Kumar Rajesh Chandra appointed as Chief of Bureau of Civil Aviation
Security
Senior IPS officer Kumar Rajesh Chandra was appointed as Chief of Bureau of Civil Aviation Security
(BCAS), the aviation security wing of the Government. His appointment was cleared by the Appointments
Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) presided by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He has been appointed in
place of IPS officer G S Malhi, who had completed his tenure as BCAS chief in November 2012. Since then crucial post was
lying vacant. Kumar Rajesh Chandra is IPS officer of a 1985 batch of Bihar cadre. Prior to this appointment, Chandra was
working as Additional Director General (Modernisation) of Bihar Police.
