1. Concept

SWOT stands for Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats. Good

planning should, it is suggested, take note of these four factors.

Sunning of the internal environment will clarify the organisation's strengths

and weaknesses.

3. Strategies

After the SWOT analysis, strategies will have to be worked out to
