d) That the loss is due to a peril insured against and is one within the meaning of the
policy.
c) That there is no reason to suspect foul play, fraud or concealment of facts by the
insured.
f) Whether, liability for the loss, or any part of it falls upon the shoulders of others,
and if so, who is the responsible party.
ix) The insurer generally, expects it feedback from the surveyor within reasonable
time from his appointment, to decide and reserve funds, and also to decide whether
the surveyor entrusted with the work can continue with his assignment or it is
necessary to appoint some other surveyor for the final survey or it is preferable to
conduct it joint survey.
x) In cases, where it is suspected that continued exposure of the damaged items
in "as is where is" condition would further aggravate the loss, immediate remedial
steps to arrest such aggravation of damages needs to be organised with the active
cooperation of the insured.
