Q1.d) Compare JPA and Group JPA and also PA
based social insurances.

Ans. Janta Personal Accident Insurance -
(i) Any person, irrespective of sex and occupation
between the age group of 10 and 70 may be covered
by this policy.
(ii) The minimum sum insured is Rs.25,000 and
maximum Rs.1,00,000 per person per annum.
The rate of premium is Rs.15 per sum insured
of Rs.25,000 which can be increased in
multiples of Rs.5,000 and rate applicable
accordingly. The insurance pays specified
benefits if the insured sustains bodily injury
solely and directly due to an accident within 12
months of its occurrence.

Group Janta Personal Accident policy should be issued
only to named groups. However, the groups should fall
under the following categories:
