Categories & Joining Process
Membership at XXXXXXX Golf Club is split into several categories to help broaden the appeal of joining
and make the price point more affordable. The prices have increased in each of the past two years.

The club does offer a pro-rate of the membership options throughout the year; however, this is not publicised.
This is due to members have a negative reaction to the advertising of reduced rates.

In addition to the main categories outlined above, there is a Get into Golf Program which introduces new
golfers to the club and provides them with a pathway to full membership through the year two and three
“Stay in Golf” program.

Some of the key membership benefits include three guest passes, limited playing rights in Faithless, 15%
bonus on food and beverage credit.

Tulfarris offer a member’s referral scheme which provides a food and beverage credit of €100 for referring
a new gent or couple membership, €50 for referring a new lady member.

With regards to underage membership, Tulfarris have looked at increasing the age to under 40’s however it
would affect a high number of existing members making it an unviable option.

When joining the club, Norma will accept the application form, issue the new member with a bag tag and
provide them with a tour of the facility. A follow-up mail will is sent, which includes information on the BRS
login and details of how to register to book tee times. As part of the joining process, the committee needs
to approve new members. They meet monthly and sign off on same.
