GOLF CLUB NAME - VENUE AUDIT
The hire club equipment is kept in good order; however, it is not befitting the standards set by the venue.
Ideally, rental club equipment should be sourced from one of the leading manufacturers. This would allow
us to increase the hire fees and then sell on the used sets at the end of the season and replaced for the
coming year.
5. Opening Hours
The pro-shop hours need to be reviewed and extended within the summer months. This will allow us to
promote Twilight offers, ensure all using the course are charged and also increase opportunities for retail
sales.
6. Improved Food & Beverage Offering
The new clubhouse is the perfect place to stop and relax and before or after a game and while it is not
possible to offer full food options there should be a consistent grab and go option consisting of quick
options utilising disposable packaging (e.g. sandwiches, scones .etc)
The present coffee offering is quiet poor and should be improved with the quality and selection of products.
RECOMMENDATIONS
We believe there is a good opportunity for growth in retail sales in the clubhouse and would recommend
the following
1. Member Competition Prizes
The process to ensure that members completion prizes are purchased in the pro-shop must be positively
concluded in the coming weeks.
2. Retail Space Enhancements
The retail area needs to be improved to accommodate a broader stock of products. We would recommend
that the slatwall within the shop be increased on the three main walls to maximise the wall space available.
This could be done in white to match in with the existing décor. Additional front and on counter displays
