Our committee presented information to sorors regarding the U.S. Census 2020. It was noted that all
important community services and attributes are affected by the census count. The federal government
uses census numbers to allocate federal funds for community programs and services, such as education,
housing, and community development, health care services for the elderly and job training. The sorors
were asked to encourage people to Be Counted.

Gamma Delta members sponsored a trip to Soaring Eagle Casino in Mt. Pleasant, MI. This outing was
open to sorors, Hub parents, friends and family. This was a wonderful outing that everyone enjoyed.
Members attended the movie "Harriett" in November as a sisterly relations activity. In December we held
a Christmas party for active and inactive sorors. We wore ugly sweaters and had a contest for the ugliest
sweater. This gave us an opportunity to celebrate the holidays and bond with our sisters.

In May 2019, Gamma Delta attended out annual Founder's Day celebration with our Quad City sorors of
Gamma Kappa (Saginaw), Beta Gamma (Toledo), Chi (Detroit). It was hosted by Gamma Kappa. We
alternate the host chapter for Founders day. We had an awesome fellowship and meal with our sister
chapters. We salute our Founders for giving us the opportunity to promote the highest ideals of the
teaching profession and make a huge impact in our communities. 2020 Founders Day will be hosted by
