On August 10,2019, eleven sorors of Gamma Rho participated in the Susan G.Komen Walk for the Cure
(Breast Cancer). In November, Soror Gaynell Wade gave a presentation and talk on Breast Cancer
awareness to the sorors as well as to the public. Soror Wade is a fifteen year survivor.She included
pamphlets and literature for everyone. In December, Soror Sonya Grant gave out literature and
information, along with a brief discussion about diabetes, to all the sorors.
