Chapter Officers and Committee Chairs were given their roles and responsibilities as outlined in the
Manual of Policy and Procedures and Gamma Rho Chapter Bylaws. Time was spent prior to our
2019-2020 opening to discuss each officer's and chairperson's position and their role in helping Gamma
Rho to move forward. At our opening meeting, each officer and committee chairperson spoke to Sorors
about their roles and responsibilities that will help Gamma Rho succeed. They also presented their
timelines and expectations for the year to Sorors. This presentation provided Sorors with a better
understanding of the functions and purpose of various positions within the chapter. It also helped Sorors
to understand what is expected of everyone in order for our chapter to have a successful 2019-2020

"Telling Our Story" was an activity designed to make Sorors aware of the ways in which they can educate
and share with the public, the informational activities that our Chapter sponsors. The Chapter discussed
the media that is currently used as well as additional resources that can be used to reach colleagues, and
school districts in the surrounding area, including the Department of Education, colleges and universities,
future teachers and potential Krinon members.
Identified resources included our online newsletter, monthly meetings, confrence calls, text messaging,
and DMs. To enhance our public and professional visibility, we added Facebook, Instagram and a monthly
jornal which provided opportunities for non-financial sorors. local NSPDK, Inc Chapters, community
partners and the general public to benefit from the activities that we offer.
