80th Midwest Regional Conference

Greetings to the Midwest Region on our first Virtual Regional Conference. Life has brought us a
new twist; the Coronavirus 19 has reigned for the last 7 months. It has caused all society to
rethink how to live quite differently. Our chapters are learning how to conduct business

differently, but we are still functioning as a sorority. We are learning more about computers
than some of us ever thought possible. We are learning the newest computer platforms, how
to use Google Docs, how to send videos to each other, how to conduct a regional conference

via computers. The National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa, Inc. is doing what we have asked our
students to do – learn and grow. I am proud to be part of such an organization. We are
adaptive, flexible, and willing to do things differently. We trust each Midwest Region Chapter

continues to hold monthly meetings, participate in the YES program, have fund raisers, enjoy
each other’s company and fellowship. We look forward to the 2021 Conclave – hopefully, we
will be able to hold it in person, but if not, there will still be a Conclave. Have a safe and

productive sororal year.
